For the “Team Generator” app (Android and iOS) and this website · Last updated: 10 October 2026

This is a translation for convenience. If the two versions differ, the German version applies.

In short: the names, lists, teams, tournaments and projects you create in the app are stored only on your device. I have no access to them. Data is only processed where the app shows ads, verifies a purchase, or when you contact me. Details below.

The app is published under the name “L&H Applications”.

2. Data that stays on your device

Everything you enter in the app – people’s names, skill levels, roles, lists, rules, team names and colours, history, favourites, tournaments, projects, entered results and the levels calculated from them, and settings – is stored locally in the app’s storage on your device only. It is not sent to me or to third parties.

You can remove it at any time under Settings → Delete all data. It is also deleted when you uninstall the app.

When you use “Share” or “Copy”, you decide which app or person receives the content. That provider (for example your messenger) is then responsible for further processing.

With “Transfer data to another device”, the app creates a file with your data (e.g. people, lists, projects, history and settings). The file only leaves your device if you share or save it yourself – you decide where it goes. When importing, the app only reads the file you select.

No account is required.

3. Advertising with Google AdMob

The free version of the app shows ads via Google AdMob, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). According to Google, its ads SDK processes the following data:

DataPurpose
IP address (and approximate location derived from it)Serving ads, fraud prevention
Advertising ID and app set IDAdvertising, measurement, fraud prevention
Interactions with ads and the app (e.g. app launch, taps, video views)Advertising, analytics
Diagnostics (e.g. load times, SDK crashes)Analytics and stability

Consent: For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app shows a Google consent dialog on first launch asking whether ads may be personalised and whether information may be stored on or read from your device for this. The legal basis is then your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy settings.

If you decline, Google shows non-personalised or limited ads. The processing technically required for this (e.g. of your IP address) and fraud prevention are based on my legitimate interest in funding the app through advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Ads are limited to content suitable for teenagers. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings under Privacy → Ads; on iOS the app asks for your permission before any tracking.

Google may transfer data to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Once you buy “Pro” as an in-app purchase, the app no longer loads ads.

4. In-app purchase “Pro”

Android: The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. I receive no payment data. The app only receives confirmation of the purchase from Google Play and stores it on your device. Google’s privacy policy applies.

iOS: The purchase is handled by Apple’s App Store. To confirm it, the app sends the receipt to my verification server, which forwards it to Apple and returns only “valid” or “invalid”. The receipt is not stored. The server is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, on servers in Germany; your IP address is processed for technical reasons. The legal basis is performance of the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

“Restore purchases” asks Google Play or Apple again whether you have already bought it.

5. Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your email address and message to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I delete it once the request is resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. This website

This website is served via Cloudflare Workers (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, based on my legitimate interest in secure and fast provision (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details: Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

This website itself sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no third-party content.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

Because I never receive the content of your app, I usually cannot provide information about it – it exists only on your device. For data processed by Google or Apple, please contact them directly.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in your place of residence or the one responsible for me: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany (datenschutz.hessen.de).

8. Changes

I update this policy when the app or the law changes. The version published here applies.
